How To Get High Scores In PTE Speaking Module

PTE Speaking Module:

Speaking is the first Module of PTE Test. In speaking module, your skills will be tested by asking you to repeat sentences, respond to questions and summaries passages.

For Read Aloud:

PTE Speaking section 1 contains the question to read aloud. Here the most important tips that you need to follow to get success in section 1 are:

• Raise your tone of voice on the contrast words and fall it down at the end of the sentence to get a good band score.
• In speaking module don’t waste your time to think about your answer. Always keep speaking, what you realized. A pause in your answer can deduct your marks.
• Pay Attention to the articles and plurals in your sentence.
• Keep on practicing by reading newspapers, magazines and novels, also try to speak some tongue twisters to practice well.

Repeat Sentence:

PTE Speaking section 2 contains the question related to Repeat Sentence. The tips to get success in Section 2 are:

• Here, you need to give your full concentration on the question, memorizing it and speak as much as you can.
• Don’t wait for the beep to start speaking. There is no beep, so start speaking as soon as possible after the end of the sentence.
• If you have a problem remembering a long sentence, then give importance to keywords, and try to remember the important keywords to answer well.

Describe Image:

In PTE Speaking section 2, an image is given to the students and the student have to describe the image. Here to get success in this section you need to concentrate on the image and find answer of some simple questions related to the image like:

• What is the graph about? (Like the polyline graph depicts the information about the sale of shoes in five countries)
• The maximum point of graph.
• The minimum point of graph.
• If there is any similarity or huge difference overall
• In any image like life cycle, layout or map use the words line left hand side, on the right hand side, below, bottom, top.

Retell Lecture:

Retell Lecture is the section 3 of PTE speaking. You can get success in this section by following these rules:

• Always start speaking by saying: “ The lecture Provides brief information about”.
• Extract the integral information from lecture and note it.
• Try to catch 3-5 sentences, which contains the main structure. By using it you can easily retell the lecture in your own words.

Answer Short Questions:

In PTE Speaking section 4 there are some short answer type question are given. It is a last section of this module. So answer well by following these tips:

• If you don’t know the answer, then just repeat the words of the question in the way of your answer.
• Don’t forget to use the articles a, an, the before some words, where it is required.
