Band requirements:
The Band requirement of Canada student visa is based on your Qualifications. The complete description about band requirement is given below:
After 12th:
After completion of twelfth standard a student need more than 6 bands not less than 5.5 in any module. If the academic percentage of a student is not so high, then he has to take the target of 6.5 or 7 Bands, that can make his profile stronger. Also, there are some students who want to study in Canada at any cost, but they have only 5.5 Band. At that time they can apply for Non SPP Colleges, but these colleges have their own drawbacks like students have to show funds, Limited number of program availability, low visa success rate as compared to SPP Colleges.  So always be careful about the college you are going to apply.
After Graduation or Post Graduation:
If the Student wants to apply after completion of his Degree or PG Degree then he need 6.5 to 7 bands based on their Qualification. You can’t apply after Degree with 6 band, if yes then you have only option of Non SPP colleges. About non SPP we have already described.
