How to register for the IELTS Exam?


If you are planning to take an IELTS exam, below-mentioned are the three ways in which you can register for the examination.
1.    Online registration
To register online for the IELTS exam, you must have a valid credit card to take advantage of the online booking facility.
Process
·       Log in to www.ieltsidpindia.com
·       Choose the option "Register for IELTS"
·       Select your test date and city (here you will see the seat availability status)
·       Complete the entire online application form properly
·       Pay the test fee by credit card (Master or Visa)
·       Get instant acknowledgment of your seat booking
You must courier the photocopy of your passport (first and last page), along with any observation pages to the IDP head office.
If you fail to complete this step, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

2.    Register in person at the IDP branch
You can visit your nearest IDP branch and use any of the two following methods to make the registration.
Method – A
·       Register online using the computer at the office and then make payment of test fees by using a Credit card.
·       You will get immediate confirmation of your seat (this is the same as online registration)
·       Hand over Photocopy of your Passport, both the first and last pages, and observation pages.
·       Submit the Terms & Conditions document duly signed
·       Obtain the instant acknowledgment letter confirming your seat for the test.
Method- B
·       Take an application form and fill it with all the details
·       You must sign the terms and conditions sheet attached to the form
·       Attach a photocopy of your passport (first and last page), along with any observation pages
·       You can pay the test fee either by using a credit or a debit card. You can also pay through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi")
The DD should be made from any bank that is listed in the approved banks' list in the Terms & Conditions document
·       Request the IDP branch staff or input node to enter your application form in the online registration system right away and give you the acknowledgment of your booking.
Please note that your verification will be subject to the realization of the Bank draft (if you have paid the fee by a bank draft)
3.    Register by Courier and make the payment by Demand Draft or ICICI deposit/Allahabad deposit slip
·       Download the application form from, https://www.ieltsidpindia.com. You can also get the application form, from the nearest IDP branch office or Input Node.
·       Fill the application form
·       Sign the application form and the Test terms and conditions sheet attached to the application form
·       Attach Photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), along with any observation pages
·       Attach the Demand Draft drawn in favor of "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi" and drawn on any bank listed in the approved banks' list in the Terms & Conditions document). You can also attach the original customer copy of the ICICI deposit slip depositing cash in nearest ICICI bank branch
·       Once all the above formalities are well-accomplished, send the completed application form with all attachments and the test fees to the IDP head office.
