When writing in your exam you should always maintain a range of 250 -270 words. Secondly, as it is a language-based test so you should always try to use a range of words and language, in short try paraphrasing the given context. While writing a candidate should be always careful of using the appropriate format of formal writing (writing in paragraphs) and use formal vocabulary only. Also, one should be careful about spellings and capitalization errors. Handwriting also plays a key role so one should make sure to write legibly (clear and understandable). In addition, the ideas should be relevant and a range of complex sentences should be maintained.

On the other hand, there are some particular things a candidate should always avoid such as using contractions (I will= I’ll), abbreviations (Doctor=Dr.), any slang or informal words. A candidate should always avoid repetition of ideas, vocabularies. Also, never write in bullet points but writing in paragraphs and never miss writing conclusions. Do not write more than 270 words as more words mean more chances of mistakes or repetition.  Avoid absolute statements.
