As you all know that, IELTS and pte both are the platforms through which the level of English of a student is judges. IELTS is the international English language testing system. And even when a student can do IELTS then he/she can get a lot of benefits. But there are few of those candidates who still have a fear and phobia of IELTS exam. Due to which they stuck into the myths of PTE as well as IELTS too.

Five common myths about IELTS

MYTH 1: Certain IELTS test centers don’t give the high band to certain candidates:-

Certainly, this is not true. None of the test centers are biased because they are providing bands only on the basis of the specified criteria, not on any of the personal aspects. IELTS is a high-profile test and the test centers will never allow any malpractices during the examination.  

MYTH 2: IELTS is difficult than other English tests:-

Like any other English language test, IELTS is also one of those tests through which your basics about the language are judged whether they are clear or not. It is definitely not tough, in fact, it can turn out to be easier if you try to understand the entire pattern of the examination.

MYTH 3: It is impossible to score more than 7 bands in IELTS:-

And if you will do the right preparation. Then, you can definitely score up to 8 bands in your IELTS exam. There are plenty of students who have scored 8 or even 8.5 bands on the test.

MYTH 4: You can take the test only once:-

In case, if you are to be able to clear your exam on the first attempt. There there is no limitation on the number of attempts. You can appear more than once to clear the IELTS examination. If you fail once or twice, do not worry you can always reappear when you are ready for it.

MYTH 5: You have to choose IDP/BC

There is no difference between the two. IELTS exam is operated on a set standard and it does not matter which one you choose.

All in all, these are a few of the common IELTS myths that you are in need to neglect while you are preparing for your IELTS Exam.
