In the Writing Task 1 of the IELTS Academic test you need to write a summary of approximately 150 words on a given graph (bar, pie or line graph), chart, table, or process (how something is made, how something is done).

• Always make sure that the answer you are providing is describing the information accurately, presented in the visual.
• Be careful about the word limit, an answer with less than 150 words can provide you the low score.
