Writing reasons and effects
First thing first is to understand the demand
of the question as even after being the easiest types it is most confusing essay
as many aspirants misunderstand or confuse this type with problem and effects or problem
and solutions or just simply answer
the partial demand, so before starting to write always understand whether
the question asks for Reason and Effect
or Reasons and Effects.
Once you have understood the demand outline
the ideas. Choose more than one idea for each side (reasons and effects). For
effects you can favor either the positive or negative side according to the
question.
Always pick two ideas for each body paragraph
and extent/ develop it appropriately, and pen down these in format
(Introduction, Body paragraph-1 for reasons, body paragraph-2 for effects and
conclusion).
Make sure you are writing relevant thesis and
giving appropriate topic sentences for more clarity of the examiner.
Finally, in the conclusion part outline the
main point stated in the body paragraphs and rephrase the thesis (you should
make sure that there should be no new idea stated in the conclusion part)
It is always suggested to go for proof
reading to ensure that there is no spelling or word choice error, there is no
repletion of words/ ideas/ connectors/ sentence structures and that you have
followed appropriate format and have wrote no less than 250 words.
